A lottery ticket worth over $100,000 was recently sold at a Winn-Dixie in Lake County.
A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth $102,889 was sold on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Winn-Dixie located at 450 E Burleigh Boulevard in Tavares.
The ticket was still unclaimed as of Friday, Nov. 21.
According to the Florida Lottery, the winning ticket is the only one that matched all five numbers for the evening drawing on Nov. 18. The five winning numbers were 11,13, 17, 24, and 28.
The winning ticket was not a QuickPick, meaning the individual selected all five numbers deliberately.
There were no winning tickets that matched all five numbers for the midday drawing.
The winning Fantasy 5 ticket in Tavares was sold just three days after another winning ticket for the Nov. 15 drawing was sold just 20 miles away.
The prize from that winning ticket has since been claimed by a resident of The Villages.
