Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse praised the XRP community after more than 3,000 participants from over 40 countries gathered in South Korea for the first XRP Seoul conference, celebrating the token’s global momentum and expanding ecosystem.
Ripple (XRP-USD) CEO Brad Garlinghouse shared his appreciation for the XRP community following the conclusion of the XRP Seoul 2025 event, describing the turnout as a clear sign of the project’s enduring global support.
“One thing you know about the XRP community anywhere in the world — they show up in force,” Garlinghouse wrote on X. “Huge congrats to the @XRPSeoul team on their first event, and we at Ripple are absolutely looking forward to the next!”
Garlinghouse’s message came after the inaugural XRP Seoul event drew thousands of attendees, including developers, investors, and ecosystem partners. The gathering showcased the growing influence of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) ecosystem across Asia and the expanding global reach of Ripple’s technology.
The organizers of XRP Seoul said the event was “truly unforgettable,” noting that more than 3,000 participants from over 40 countries came together “with passion, energy, and community spirit to shape the future of the XRP and XRPL ecosystem.”
The two-day event featured discussions on cross-border payments, tokenization, and regulatory clarity following Ripple’s legal victory earlier this year. Developers also showcased new applications built on the XRPL, including DeFi, real-world asset tokenization, and payment infrastructure tools.
The turnout reflected strong engagement from the XRP community in Asia, a region that has become a major hub for blockchain adoption and financial innovation.
Ripple has deep ties across the Asia-Pacific region, with partnerships in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea playing a central role in its growth. The company continues to work with regional payment providers to expand On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) services, allowing faster and cheaper cross-border transactions.
Garlinghouse’s recognition of the XRP community at the Seoul event highlights Ripple’s ongoing focus on international markets. The firm has consistently pointed to Asia as a leader in regulatory clarity and crypto adoption.
Beyond price performance, XRP’s greatest strength has often been its community. The XRP “Army,” as it’s known online, remains one of the most organized and vocal groups in crypto, frequently advocating for the token’s use and defending its legitimacy through years of legal and market uncertainty.
Events like XRP Seoul 2025 help translate that online energy into real-world collaboration. The massive turnout of thousands of attendees, along with praise from Ripple executives, showed just how far the XRP ecosystem has come and how deeply rooted its community remains across borders.
At the time of writing, XRP is sitting at $3.00.
