XLM & XRP's Cross-Border Vision Faces Fresh Competition From Fast-Growing PayFi Challenger – CoinCentral

Right now, the XRP news stream is full of bullish signals as institutional flows pick up, while the XLM price is catching eyes as an undervalued crypto project with renewed momentum. But there’s a new DeFi project on the block that is threatening to rewrite the rules of global remittance and it’s not the same old story of legacy players.
If you’re hunting for the best crypto to buy now, this is the moment to sit up and pay attention.

The token XRP has made a strong case as a low gas fee crypto designed for rapid cross-border transfers on the Ripple Labs platform and its ecosystem. With recent reports highlighting that an XRP ETF could easily surpass $1 billion in assets under management in its first months, the urgency is building.
Current price action shows XRP trading above the 200-day EMA and eyeing a breakout toward the $3.00 mark. The market sees it as one of the next big altcoins of 2025 if momentum holds.

With a vision that stakes a claim on a slice of global payments volume previously dominated by legacy players, Ripple’s CEO expects XRP to capture 14% of SWIFT’s flow in coming years. If that happens, the rewards for early wrap-holders could be substantial.
On the other side is XLM, the native token of the Stellar Development Foundation. This is a coin often overlooked in debates about the best DeFi altcoin, yet it ticks many boxes: cross-chain utility, enterprise partnerships, and a positioning as a payments facilitator.
Recent news shows institutional buying anchoring support around $0.36, and analysts projecting targets in the $0.50-$0.70 range in the coming weeks. But be clear: there’s risk. One report flagged strong outflows threatening the rally if resistance around $0.47 holds.

For holders, the vision is simple: this could be one of those early stage crypto investment plays where the payoff comes from overlooked utility and a lower entry cost.

Remittix, a high-momentum cross-chain DeFi project, has emerged as a real threat to both XRP and XLM in the remittance game. This is not just hype—analysts are already tagging it as the next 100x scenario for 2025.
Compared side-by-side: while XRP and XLM rely on established rails and known ecosystems, Remittix brings fresh architecture, built-in real-world utility, and early traction that suggests it might dominate the next wave of global payments. It’s short on legacy baggage and heavy on growth potential.
The stake here is clear. With wallet reveal above the horizon, and multiple centralized exchanges already lined up, you don’t want to be on the sidelines when the listing surge hits.
Remittix has opened up a $250,000 giveaway, designed to reward early-holders and referrers alike. This isn’t just passive encouragement—it’s a network effect play built for you to engage and earn.
Step in now. Become an early holder. When the wallet launches, listings trigger and adoption starts climbing—those who moved first will have the best seats. Missing this moment could mean watching from the sidelines while others ride the wave.

Malta’s National Lottery Officially Under New Management And Changes Are On Their Way – Lovin Malta

By

Malta’s national lottery has officially changed hands, with the Malta Gaming Authority granting the IZI Group a license to run it for the next ten years.
National Lottery plc, the new company, has promised to bring several changes to existing games, including improved odds for Lotto, the elimination of prize capping, a new Tuesday Lotto draw and larger jackpots for the Super5 game.
New games will also be introduced, including add-ons to the Super5 game (Super5 Plus and Super5-4-3-2-1), the introduction of a new digit game called Pick3 and the rebranding of Keno into FastKeno.
The sports betting brand IZIBET, which was already run by the IZI Group, is now also available from all national lottery outlets.

National Lottery plc CEO Johann Schembri hailed today as the culmination of years of work and the start of a new era for the national lottery.
“I am very grateful to have found a team of people that have put their life on hold to ensure that we deliver a new national lottery service in record time,” Schembri said.
“We are committed to deliver an innovative, forward-looking and above all a fair and transparent national lottery service, powered by the world’s leading lottery technology company, International Game Technology (IGT).”
“We are also proud and privileged to be the first fully-owned Maltese company to operate what essentially is the most important gaming operation in Malta which now allows our Group to take an active role in all the land-based gaming business verticals.”
“Our aspiration is to take the national lottery of Malta to unprecedented levels in line with the highest operating standards found in Europe.”
The IZI Group, which also runs the Dragonara Casino and the IZIBET platform, won a lottery concession following the expiration of Maltco’s contract. Maltco, which had run the national lottery ever since its privatisation in 2004, didn’t submit a bid.
The first Lotto draw under new management is set to take place this Saturday (9th July), followed by the first ever Tuesday Lotto draw on 12th July.
