One lucky EuroMillions player is enjoying the Halloween weekend over 400 thousand euros richer after scooping a massive prize in last night’s draw.
The winning ticket was bought in Co Waterford, and the lucky player matched five numbers and one lucky star in the Euromillions draw to scoop the top prize.
The winning ticket saw the Waterford winner scoop a total of €405,711. The lucky Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Mulhearn’s Foodstore in The Square, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. 
A second lucky player from County Wicklow matched five numbers to scoop €31,607.  The Match 5 winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Earl’s on Abbey Street in Wicklow Town. 
The results of last night’s draw mean that Tuesday’s EuroMillions Jackpot is set to roll on towards an estimated €85 million.
The winning numbers from last night’s Euromillion Draw were 05, 14, 38, 43, 45 and lucky stars 07 and 11.
The National Lottery has advised players in Waterford and Wicklow to check their tickets very carefully today.
The two biggest winners of the night are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe.
They should contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes. 
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr had the following advice for players: ‘Two of our EuroMillions players will undoubtedly always remember Halloween 2025 as being a big one! A Waterford player became the biggest winner of the night after matching five numbers and one lucky star to win an incredible €405,711, while a Wicklow player matched five numbers to win an impressive €31,607. We are encouraging all of our players who may have purchased their tickets in Waterford and Wicklow to check them carefully today and to make contact with our Prize Claims team.’

State police say a Wolcott man was arrested after he allegedly stole nearly $10,000 worth of New York State lottery tickets from a local bar.
Investigators say 67-year-old David M. Miller was working at the Wolcott Elks Lodge on September 27 when he used a bar terminal to print $9,498 in Quick Draw lottery tickets.
According to troopers, Miller didn’t pay for the tickets. While some of them resulted in $4,164 in winnings, the remaining $5,334 was unpaid.
Miller was arrested Friday and charged with grand larceny in the third degree. He was taken to Wayne County Jail for arraignment and later released.
He’s expected to return to court at a later date.

The jackpot was last won on Sept. 6 when two lottery players from Missouri and Texas $1.787 billion jackpot – the second largest ever.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot is at $800 million with a cash option of $371.7 million, according to the Mega Millions website.
