One of Amanda’s most frequent requests from many winners is flying pet pooches with their owners to some of the most exclusive locations around the world – all because winners haven’t wanted their dogs to miss out on the celebrations.
Amanda said: “It can be a daunting experience – it sounds crazy to say – but imagine going from having a small amount of money in the bank to suddenly having millions – just like that.

With the EuroMillions jackpot hitting a massive £208M on Friday, June 6, Amanda and her team are on standby to help the next lucky winner.
A single winner of this giant jackpot would be the biggest National Lottery winner ever in this country
Amanda added: “It is an amazing feeling to be helping people to live and fulfil their dreams following their National Lottery win.
“Many of these people are just so overwhelmed with excitement at the prospect of what their new life now means – they simply don’t know where to start and what to do with their new-found fortunes and this is where we can step in to help, reassure and guide them on their journey to living their ultimate dream and fulfilling their bucket list.”
Amanda got the idea for The Fixer when her beach bag was swept out to sea during a Caribbean lunch break.
She shared: “I returned to my lounger, and it had gone.
“The time and trouble it took me to sort everything was unreal.
“My bag had everything in it.
“This was what made me think – wouldn’t it be great if there was someone who could do all of this for me and take away the hassle of this mishap while I am on my dream holiday.

“Not only this but having someone to help arrange my holiday for me was something that I thought pretty much anyone in the world would appreciate – particularly people with more money than most who might have more on their to-do list to organise.
“All this leading to me really having the best job in the world. I love helping and supporting people.”

Chicago Sky Receive Fifth Pick in WNBA Draft Lottery – Sports Illustrated

On Nov. 23, the WNBA draft lottery was held. The Chicago Sky had a 5.5% chance to receive the first pick, a 7.6% chance to receive the second pick, and an 86.9% chance to receive the fifth pick. Unfortunately for Chicago, the odds were not in their favor, and the ping pong balls fell to give them the fifth overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
As shown on ESPN, the lottery fell perfectly chalk, meaning that everyone got the pick they were in line to get. The Dallas Wings received the first pick, the Minnesota Lynx received the second pick via the Chicago Sky, the Seattle Storm received the third pick via the Los Angeles Sparks, the Washington Mystics received the fourth pick and the Sky received the fifth pick, a pick that was originally the Connecticut Sun’s, but got swapped.
The Sky were represented by Nadia Rawlinson, the team’s co-owner, for the draft lottery and were only one of the five to not send a player.
For Chicago fans, this means you can pretty much give up on the hope of Awa Fam or Lauren Betts coming to the Windy City, as those two are almost guaranteed to be the top two picks in some order.
A name that could be falling in the draft is Olivia Miles. So far, the shooting development she showed last season has not carried over into her final season at TCU. Miles was mentioned in the article that was speculating on what would happen if the Sky had received the second pick, but now it is looking like she may be more in line for the fifth pick.
Miles shot 40.6% from three last season, a massive step ahead from her 22.8% that she had the season before her injury redshirt season. The TCU Horned Frog is shooting 29.6% from three through six games per BartTorvik, which would not be super concerning had her elite 2025 shooting season not been an outlier.
A player I mentioned as a possibility for the fifth pick was Azzi Fudd, who has been absurdly efficient this season, shooting 54.8%, 23-for-42 from three this season. Fudd’s shooting is against some very real teams, as Torvik has UConn’s non-conference schedule projected as the most difficult set of games in the country. It would be unreasonable to expect her to keep this level of efficiency going, but it does show that she can be a flamethrower from deep on a decent sample size.
I had mentioned in the Azzi Fudd section of the fifth overall pick scenario article that if the Dallas Wings fell ahead of the Sky, there was a chance she might get slightly overdrafted, with her connection to Paige Bueckers. With the Wings getting number one, that scenario is much less likely.
Overall, the fifth pick is somewhat of a setback for the Sky, but there is nearly a full college season ahead, one that could bring some surprise risers and fallers, and deliver an impact player to the Windy City.

Black Tie Bingo crowd hears big update as MRI campaign hits major milestone – Lanarkleedstoday.ca

The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation says its MRI fundraising campaign has reached a major milestone.
At the sold-out Black Tie Bingo event on November 15, Foundation Chair Kristine Fair announced the Magnifying Care Close to Home campaign has raised $4.1 million toward its $6.1 million goal.
Since the MRI arrived in November 2023, more than 4,000 patients have received scans locally, reducing travel and speeding up critical diagnostic results. In 2025, MRI services expanded to include breast imaging, offering more advanced care closer to home.
The hospital also doubled operating hours on October 16, moving from 8 to 16 hours per day to meet growing community demand.
Fair said the progress reflects the generosity of donors and the strong community commitment to local health care. With $2 million left to raise, the Foundation is encouraging residents, businesses, and service groups to support the campaign.

Powerball Winner: Did Anyone Win Monday's $655 Million Jackpot? – 93.1 WPOC

Photo: Getty Images
Wednesday’s (November 26) Powerball jackpot will be worth an estimated $681 million after zero players matched all six numbers during the $655 million drawing Monday (November 24) night.
Results from Monday’s Powerball game are listed below:
NUMBERS: 8-16-26-30-58
POWERBALL: 14
POWER PLAY: 2x
Two players won the $1.79 billion Powerball drawing on September 6. Tickets purchased in Missouri and Texas matched all five white numbers and the red Powerball, resetting the next drawing to $20 million ($10.2 million cash value) for September 8.
Saturday’s drawing was the second largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history, behind only the $2.04 billion Powerball drawing on November 7, 2022. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are reported to be 1 in 292.2 million, according to Powerball.com.
Saturday’s jackpot winner was the first since one player won the $205 million Powerball drawing on May 31. The Powerball had previously reset after one player won the $167 million Powerball drawing on April 26.
One player in California matched all six numbers to win the $2.04 billion ($997.6 million) jackpot on November 7, 2022, the largest jackpot offered in U.S. lottery history, according to the official Powerball website. Powerball has had jackpots exceeding $1 billion six times.
Mega Millions games have also exceeded $1 billion seven times, which includes its largest offering, a $1.603 billion jackpot that was one by a player in Florida on August 8. Both jackpots increase during each following game until there’s a jackpot winning ticket matching all six numbers drawn, which includes the additional Mega Millions Gold Ball or Powerball in each respective game.

NZ’s secret Lotto code? The tips, tricks & ‘lucky’ numbers Kiwis need to know – The Hits

With jackpots climbing into the eye-watering amount of millions, it’s no surprise Kiwis start dreaming a little bigger on Lotto nights. And while everyone knows the game is pure chance, there are a few quirky stats, patterns, and pieces of advice from past winners that make the whole thing a lot more fun.
So if you’re grabbing a ticket this week, here’s your unofficial, totally-for-fun guide to “boosting” your luck – the Kiwi way.
Yes, every store technically has the same odds … but some places have undeniably impressive track records.
Does choosing a “lucky” store increase your chances? Nope. Does it make buying your ticket feel more magical? Absolutely.

LottoNZ’s data shows a few numbers that have popped up more than others over the years:
For your main line, the most commonly drawn New Zealand numbers include:
19, 15, 1, 35, 22, 2, 5, 7, 6, 4.
It’s not a guarantee –  but hey, it’s fun to think about.

Richard Lustig (multiple US lotto wins)
His well-known advice is simple: don’t go for Quick Picks.
“I play my own numbers, I play them regularly, and I never miss a draw, and again that’s what increases your chances,” he said. “Seventy per cent of our players choose randomly.”
Carlo Massetti (five-time Kiwi-born winner)
Massetti became famous for an unbelievable winning streak, including three big wins in 10 days. His approach was… bold.
He often spent $5,000 to $8,000 on a systems entry ticket, choosing 8-9 numbers to cover as many combinations as possible. He also preferred smaller weekly jackpots because fewer people entered, meaning fewer chances of sharing the prize.
Not a strategy for everyone, but it clearly worked for him.

Whether backed by stats or superstition, these are the classic bits of lotto lore:
And yes… LottoNZ reminds everyone that all numbers really do have equal odds. But picking your own still feels more intentional, you know?
The odds of winning Powerball Division 1 are about 1 in 38.4 million – so play for fun, set a limit, and treat it like entertainment. If a win comes your way, amazing. If not, well, it’s still cheaper than a night out.
You actually have much better odds of winning something fun with The Hits (though it might not be a million dollars).
There’s no real secret formula – but picking your own numbers, choosing a “lucky” store for the vibes, and joining a syndicate with your mates adds a little extra sparkle to the dream. And if your ticket does turn into millions… well, don’t forget us.

Powerball winning numbers, results for Monday, November 24, 2025 – Cincinnati Enquirer

Did anyone win Monday night’s Powerball drawing for the estimated jackpot of $629 million?
The cash option for the Nov. 24 jackpot was $291.6 million.
Here’s what we know about the drawing on Monday, Nov. 24.
The winning numbers for the Nov. 24 drawing were 8, 16, 26, 30, 58 and the Powerball was 14. The Powerplay was 2X.
The estimated jackpot for this drawing was $629 million with the cash option of $291.6 million.
No ticket matched the numbers to win the jackpot or the Match 5 plus Power Play $2 million prize. A ticket sold in Illinois won the $1 million Match 5 prize.
The next drawing is on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The estimated jackpot for this drawing has grown to $681 million with a cash value of $315.7 million.
Powerball drawings take place three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
The Powerball is played in 45 states, including Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, and in Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You do not have to be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident to play Powerball.
You can purchase tickets at gas stations, convenience stores and supermarkets in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Sales cut-off times vary by one to two hours before the drawing, depending on the selling jurisdiction.
You can also purchase tickets in Ohio through the Ohio Lottery website, www.ohiolottery.com.
A single Powerball ticket costs $2. Pay an additional $1 to add the Power Play for a chance to multiply all Powerball winnings except for the jackpot. Players can also add the Double Play for an additional $1 to have a second chance at winning $10 million.
To play, select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls, then select one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
You can choose your lucky numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers.
To win, match one of the 9 Ways.
