Devils' Connor Brown: Not on road trip – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
Brown (upper body) didn’t travel with the Devils for the team’s upcoming five-game road trip, Kristy Flannery of The Hockey News reports Tuesday.
Brown is unlikely to be available to play against Chicago on Wednesday and versus Washington on Saturday. However, the team intends to practice in New Jersey next week, which could open the door for Brown to join his teammates on the ice and return to action before the five-game trip is over. He has accounted for five goals, one assist, 17 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and six hits across 11 appearances this season.

The Boston Celtics were NBA champions in 2024 and then won 61 games in the regular season while attempting a title defense. However, disaster struck in Game 4 against the New York Knicks when Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles late in the fourth quarter. Boston went on to lose the game and lose that series, and is now hoping (but not expecting) that Tatum can make a return late in the 2025-26 regular season.
The Celtics are off to a 5-6 start this year and are hoping to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference playoff race long enough for their superstar to consider a comeback. Tatum posted a video of himself dunking roughly six months after his surgery and there’s at least some precedent for a return this season.
Jaylen Brown looks to lead the team with Tatum on the bench and he’s leading a Boston roster that has been overhauled significantly. Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday are no longer with the team and the Celtics added Anfernee Simons and Josh Minnott while elevating Payton Pritchard and Neemis Queta to the starting lineup. They’re currently priced at -140 to make the postseason in the latest NBA odds from DraftKings. Claim the NBA League Pass offer at DraftKings here

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Set to start at home – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
Andersen will be between the home pipes Tuesday versus the Capitals, per Walt Ruff and Peter Dewar of the Hurricanes‘ official site.
Andersen hasn’t been at the top of his game lately, registering a 2-3-0 record, 3.39 GAA and .889 save percentage across his last five appearances. The Capitals have lost back-to-back contests and six of their last seven, so this could be a favorable matchup for Andersen. Washington also ranks 22nd in the NHL with 2.80 goals per game in 2025-26.
