Healthy Roster acquires Sway Medical, expanding digital reach in sports medicine – ohiotechnews.com

Columbus-based Healthy Roster, a leading sports medicine and injury documentation software company, has acquired Sway Medical, an Oklahoma-based pioneer in mobile concussion testing. The move, backed by New York growth equity firm Level Equity, brings together two major players in athlete health tech.
The deal strengthens Healthy Roster’s position in the fast-growing sports medicine technology market, combining its electronic medical record (EMR) and telehealth tools with Sway’s FDA-cleared balance and cognitive assessment platform. Together, the companies aim to deliver an end-to-end system for injury documentation, concussion management, and athlete wellness tracking—a significant step in digitizing athlete care from sideline to clinic.
Healthy Roster serves thousands of organizations across athletics, healthcare, and occupational health.
Sway’s mobile app allows athletic trainers and clinicians to perform validated concussion tests directly from a smartphone.
The acquisition is supported by Level Equity, which has over $4.5 billion in committed capital and a portfolio focused on high-growth software and tech-enabled businesses.
Each year, an estimated 3.8 million sport-related concussions occur in the U.S., underscoring the need for faster, more reliable testing and reporting tools.
“Bringing Sway into the Healthy Roster family represents a powerful step forward in our mission to make sports medicine smarter, faster, and more connected,” said Nathan Heerdt, Co-Founder and CEO of Healthy Roster.
“Healthy Roster and Sway have long shared a commitment to advancing athlete safety through innovation,” said Chase Curtiss, Founder of Sway Medical.
“The combined company is exceptionally positioned to lead the next chapter in sports medicine technology,” added Chris Isaac, Partner at Level Equity.
As sports programs and health systems seek more integrated care models, the union of Healthy Roster and Sway Medical signals a shift toward connected athlete data ecosystems—where injury records, concussion tests, and recovery plans live in one digital platform.

UCF vs Houston predictions, picks, odds. Who wins Week 11 college football game? – Daytona Beach News-Journal

3-2-1 blastoff! UCF football plays perhaps its spaciest Space Game ever tonight against Houston, looking to extend its record in its nods to the school’s NASA ties to 9-0.
The Knights could use some magic of the Citronauts (that’s what they’ll be called tonight) after taking a 30-3 loss last week at Baylor to fall to 4-4 (1-4 in Big 12). Running back Myles Montgomery, sixth in the conference with 71.5 rushing yards per game, has gone three games without a 100-yard day. Slumps haven’t stopped the Space Game mojo before: UCF was on a five-game skid last year before unleashing a 56-12 beatdown on Arizona.
At 7-2 (4-2), Houston is hoping to get into the Big 12 championship game and snag a College Football Playoff bid. Those plans took a shot last week when the Cougars were stunned at home by West Virginia 45-35.
Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Thursday, Nov. 6.

UCF 24, Houston 16: “Generating takeaways tops UCF defensive coordinator Alex Grinch‘s checklist every week, but it becomes even more imperative against Houston. The Cougars turned the ball over four times against West Virginia, and it resulted in 17 points for the conference’s bottom-ranked offense. Seven of Houston’s eight turnovers this fall occurred in their two losses.”
Houston 27, UCF 21: “How long can the Space Game win streak continue? Into infinity? UCF’s offense will need to be just short of infinity times better to get a win Friday. Last week against Baylor, it managed three points. On Oct. 11 against Cincinnati, it mustered 11. The Knights’ lone win since mid-September — and lone offensive outburst of more than 20 points since then — came Oct. 18 against West Virginia 45-13.”
Houston 46, UCF 17: “This whole Space Game streak of UCF’s truly is out of this world. Include the wild margin-of-victory average, and you really do need a rocket scientist to decipher the statistical oddities in play here. Both teams are coming off a disappointing loss. But UCF’s 30-3 pratfall at Baylor provides the type of recency bias you can’t ignore.”

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Rough start continues – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
Gustavsson made 23 saves in a 4-3 loss to Carolina on Thursday night.
This season has been a rough go for Gustavsson, who sports a 4-7-1 record, 3.19 GAA and .896 save percentage in 12 starts. That’s a far cry from his stand-out 31-19-6 record, 2.56 GAA and .914 save percentage in 58 starts last season. Gustavsson is better than his record indicates, but his ratios are a drag on cumulative fantasy categories where it can be hard to overcome a slow start.

Suns' Mark Williams: Secures another double-double – CBS Sports

If not listed, please contact your TV provider.
Williams contributed 13 points (4-8 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals across 28 minutes during Thursday’s 115-102 victory over the Clippers.
Williams turned in yet another strong showing across the board, notching his second double-double in as many games. He’s posted four double-doubles through eight appearances this season and should continue to be a consistent source of points and rebounds now that he’s officially taken over the starting center role.
