The 2026 WNBA Draft isn’t quite as star-studded as some of its predecessors, but it still features a strong pool of prospects attracting scouts’ attention.
Leading the class is UCLA big Lauren Betts. The 6-foot-7 center averaged 20.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks on 64.8% shooting as a junior. A throwback in style, Betts excels in the paint rather than stretching out to the perimeter—a smooth post operator any team would covet. Just ask the Fever, who leaned heavily on Aliyah Boston while Caitlin Clark recovered from injury.
TCU guard Olivia Miles has also drawn rave reviews. She rose to prominence at Notre Dame under Niele Ivey and was the presumptive No. 2 pick in the 2025 draft before transferring. In her final season with the Fighting Irish, Miles averaged 15.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.4 steals on 48.3/40.6/79.0 shooting splits.
Other prospects to watch include Azzi Fudd, Awa Fam, and Flau’Jae Johnson, all expected to make an impact at the professional level.
The draft has become a critical tool for building WNBA contenders. Paige Bueckers is already a cornerstone for the Wings, while Clark and Boston anchor a team that came within a single game of the WNBA Finals. Which teams will Betts, Miles, and the others join in 2026? Only time will tell. Few things predict postseason success like a strong draft, and nothing revitalizes struggling teams quite like the WNBA Draft lottery.

This could be your lucky day. You could be the next Mega Millions lottery jackpot winner.
This jackpot was an estimated $60 million for Friday night’s drawing, according to the Mega Millions website.
The last jackpot was won on November 14, a single winner from Georgia won a $980 million jackpot.

After tonight, the next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday, November 25. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
In New York, in-store and online ticket sales are available until 10 p.m. on the night of the draw. Mega Millions costs $5 to play. In New Jersey and Connecticut you can purchase a ticket until 10:45 p.m. the night of the draw.
The new multiplier increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. The cost of the new multiplier is included in the $5 cost of a ticket. The multiplier value — either 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x — will be randomly selected and printed on the ticket next to each play. This feature replaces the Megaplier, which has been retired.

The odds of matching the five white balls and Mega Ball to win the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
A jackpot winner has the option of taking an annuity or cash payment.
The annuity is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, according to the Mega Millions website. Each payment is 5% bigger than the previous one.
“This helps protect winners’ lifestyle and purchasing power in periods of inflation,” according to the Mega Millions website.
The cash option is a one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.
If two or more people win the jackpot in the same drawing, the money is shared equally among all winning tickets.
In order to purchase a ticket, you’ll have to visit your local convenience store, gas station or grocery store — and in a handful of states, you can purchase tickets online.
To play, you will need to pick six numbers. Five numbers will be white balls ranging from 1 to 70. The gold Mega Ball is one number between 1 and 24.
If you believe the odds are against you, ask for a “Quick Pick” or an “Easy Pick,” the computer will randomly generate the numbers for you.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The winning streak at Hard Rock Casino Tejon continued Saturday night as two guests hit life-changing jackpots totaling more than $260,000 within just 49 minutes of each other.
The first jackpot was struck at 9:45 p.m. by a guest from Panorama City, who won $127,828. Shortly after, at 10:34 p.m., a guest from Tarzana, Calif., hit a $136,100 jackpot.
These back-to-back wins follow Hard Rock Casino Tejon's announcement of over $10 million in jackpots paid out over a ten-day period.
"The energy on our gaming floor has been absolutely electric," said Chris Kelley, president of Hard Rock Casino Tejon. "We continue to see remarkable wins night after night, and these two jackpots—hit less than an hour apart—only add to the excitement our guests are experiencing. We’re thrilled to be the place where so many players are hitting big."

The evening Shayan Aarti is an experience not to be missed. Varanasi is believed to be Shiva’s own city, where devotees share a personal bond with him. Situated amidst the snow-covered Himalayas, Kedarnath is accessible after an 18-kilometer trek. According to legend, when the Pandavas sought Shiva’s forgiveness, he disguised himself as a bull and hid underground, leaving only his hump visible, which now resides in the temple. Known for its unique Bhasma Aarti, Mahakaleshwar is a spiritually charged temple where Shiva is adorned daily with different decorations of flowers, rudraksha, and sacred ash. This temple is also the only Jyotirlinga that faces south, making it distinct from others.

Somnath, the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas, has withstood multiple invasions and reconstructions. Despite its turbulent history, it remains a symbol of unwavering faith. Mahashivratri sees a massive influx of devotees here for Shiv Abhishek, bhajans, and night-long prayers in honor of Lord Shiva.

Located near the source of the Godavari River, Trimbakeshwar’s Jyotirlinga is unique, featuring three faces symbolizing Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). It is believed to be a powerful site for those seeking spiritual awakening and divine blessings.

At Baidyanath Dham, Shiva is revered as a healer (Baidya). According to mythology, Ravana’s intense penance pleased Shiva, who gifted him a lingam under the condition that it should not be placed on the ground before reaching Lanka. However, Ravana was deceived, and the lingam was established in Deoghar, where it remains as a sacred Jyotirlinga.
