Louisiana Lottery Reveals Single Ticket Wins $980 MIllion – 97.3 The Dawg

(Baton Rouge, LA) Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery offices in Baton Rouge have confirmed a single ticket sold for Friday's Mega Millions Lottery matched all the numbers needed to earn the game's jackpot prize. The game had not produced a jackpot winner since June of this year.
The jackpot prize of $980 million was the 8th largest jackpot in the game's history. It is also the largest jackpot prize awarded since the Mega Millions game changed its format in April of this year.

READ MORE: Jackpot Alert! Louisiana Lottery Reveals New Lotto Prize Amount
In that format, ticket prices increased from $2 $3 to a flat $5 per ticket rate. Under the old rules of the game, a player could purchase a ticket for $2. Then, for an extra dollar, add the "Megaplier," a prize multiplier drawn separately from the "game play" balls.
Under the new rules of the game, a multiplier is automatically assigned to each ticket purchased. The multipliers can range from "x2" to "x10". We have seen what the "x10" multiplier can do; that's an easy way for a small win to become dinner for the family if you know what I mean.
I don't mean to toot my own horn, but last week we predicted this win almost to the exact day. We actually had the winning ticket being drawn either last Friday or this past Wednesday. We determined that prediction by tracking jackpot wins in the game over its history, and I won't say that we nailed it, but we nailed it.
You can't argue with math and telephone support call centers; one will always win, and the other will simply tell you to unplug, turn off, and start over, which is what the Mega Millions jackpot will also be doing. But before we talk about the future, let's revisit the past.
Here is the Mega Millions drawing for November 14, 2025.
We do know a jackpot winner was sold, and the honor of that winning ticket goes to the Georgia Lottery. The winning ticket was sold in the Peach State. It's kind of fitting that the Georgia Lottery is a founding member of the lottery consortium that puts Mega Millions on for us to play.
There were a few big wins in Louisiana in Friday's drawing. While the prize amounts were not jaw-dropping, the fact that we had multiple winners suggests it was a lucrative lottery night in Louisiana.  Our data sheets show that Louisiana-sold tickets earned five one-thousand-dollar prizes; there were two winners each of $2,000 and $2,500.
All in all, there were almost 6,000 winning tickets sold in Louisiana for Friday's Mega MIllions game. The prizes range from $10 up to $2,500. If you'd like to see if you have money coming back from your Mega Millions investment, here are the numbers.
The numbers that we saw rolling out of the hopper were:
01   08   11   12   57   Mega Ball 07
If you'd like to verify your ticket and your prizes, you may visit the Winner's Portal of the Louisiana Lottery website. That site will also have the prize redemption information you need.
The Mega Millions jackpot will now return to its starting point of $50 million. Meanwhile, the lottery focus will shift to Powerball and Lotto in Louisiana tonight. The Powerball jackpot prize is listed at $546 million for the annuitized jackpot. The cash payout on a jackpot win in Powerball tonight would pay $255.6 million.
The Lotto game in the Louisiana Lottery will feature one of the largest jackpot prizes in recent history. For a one-dollar investment, a player could earn $3.75 million tonight. Of course, the odds are really long that you'd do that, but somebody is going to eventually win, and that could be you tonight.
But please realize the risk of losing your money is great. If you have a gambling problem, get help. Call 1-877-770-STOP (7867). The call is free, and the results could be priceless to you and your family. Good Luck.

Opter To Revolutionalise Perp Trading Like Bitcoin Did Crypto And Solana Done For Memecoins – CoinCentral

Bitcoin changed how people see money, and Solana made meme coins famous again. Now, Opter wants to change how people trade perpetual futures. Read more to understand why many traders believe this project could be the next big name in crypto.
Opter is a hybrid decentralized exchange that lets users trade both cryptocurrencies and real-world assets in one place. It does not ask for KYC or long registration forms. After depositing crypto like BTC, SOL, or BNB, trading starts right away.
Opter mixes the speed and liquidity of centralized exchanges with the trust of decentralized finance. This gives traders fast order execution, transparent prices and control of their funds.
The global perpetual-futures market is huge, with over 60 trillion dollars of cumulative trading volume surpassed since 2020. Opter aims to capture a share of that by creating a platform that everyday people can use.
Its token model also rewards users. A portion of trading fees goes to buy back tokens. Half of those are burned, 20% go to staking rewards, and 30% fund marketing and operations.
The presale token can be bought directly or earned through trading activity on the platform. This model gives both buyers and traders a way to join the ecosystem early. It also creates demand for the token before its official exchange launch.
Bitcoin drives the most attention in the crypto market and when its price moves, the rest of the market follows. Right now, Bitcoin is trading around $102,000 after failing to stay above $106,000.
Traders see Bitcoin in a neutral phase. The Relative Strength Index sits near 53, showing the market is waiting for a trigger. Some experts think the next move will come from U.S. economic data or renewed institutional demand. Others believe the bottom may already be set at $98,000.
If Bitcoin manages to climb above $110,000, analysts predict a rally that could push it to above $140,000. If it drops below $98,000, then this current cycle could end.
Solana has had a bumpy year. It is one of the few top coins still down this year, about 16% in the last week. But not everything looks bad. Solana ETFs have recorded positive inflows for more than ten straight days, showing strong confidence.
Solana’s partnership with SoFi Bank also helped. Now people in the U.S. can buy SOL directly from their bank accounts. This makes Solana easier to access and could bring more users into the network.
From a technical point of view, Solana’s support sits near 150 dollars. If it holds that level, traders expect the next targets to be 190 and 200. A break above 256 could even send it toward 300.
There are clear reasons people are talking about Opter (OPTER) as the best altcoin to buy now. Here are some:
While Bitcoin leads crypto and Solana drives new ideas, Opter might soon do the same for perpetual trading. If you are searching for the next altcoin with real purpose and growth potential, Opter is worth watching closely.
