STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A New York Lottery player won $50,000 with a third-prize winning Powerball ticket.
The New York Lottery announced the winning ticket for the April 27 drawing matched four white balls and the red Powerball. It was sold at Pramukh 2294, located at 2294 Hempstead Tpke., in East Meadow, New York.
Winning numbers for the April 27 Powerball drawing are white balls 9, 30, 53, 55, 62 and red Powerball 23.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. In order to win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer for $2, seven days a week. The deadline for purchasing a ticket is 10 p.m. on draw nights.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m., and the New York Lottery urges players to buy tickets early to avoid last-minute lines.

The National Lottery EuroMillions jackpot has soared past the £100m barrier tonight (Friday, November 14) to hit a dizzying £108m.
The stonking sum of money is there for the taking if anyone manages to get all five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars.

A winning $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold for Wednesday’s drawing, according to the CT Lottery.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls as well as the Powerball, according to the CT Lottery’s website.
The winning numbers are 29 – 39 – 43 – 51 – 65, with a Powerball of 23.
Well-known handcrafted CT food now star of a retail first. It grew from a ‘community connection.’

MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) – The Mega Millions jackpot has surged to nearly $1 billion for Friday’s drawing.
It marks the 40th Mega Millions drawing since the last jackpot win in Virginia on June 27. The total jackpot is estimated at $980 million with a cash option of $452.2 million, according to the Michigan Lottery.
If a player wins, it will be the largest Mega Millions jackpot of 2025 and the eighth largest in the game’s history. Since the current jackpot run started on July 1, Michigan players have won more than $10 million in prizes.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won in Michigan was in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club claimed a $1.05 billion prize, the largest ever in the state.
Mega Millions tickets can be purchased for $5 apiece at more than 10,000 Michigan Lottery retailers across the state or on the lottery’s website until 10:45 p.m. Friday.
