What you can do:
Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tickets are $5 each and include a randomly assigned multiplier, multiplying the base prize levels by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X. Half of the proceeds from the sale of each Mega Millions ticket remains in the state where the ticket was sold, with the money supporting designated good causes and retailer commissions.
The overall odds of winning any Mega Millions prize are 1 in 23; the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.

This November, Buda is turning its downtown into a retail playground, one bingo card at a time. Buda Bingo is happening now and runs through November 30, inviting residents and visitors to support local businesses in a fun, rewarding way.
The event is presented by Buda EDC, the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce, and Discover Buda, with an eye on building excitement toward Shop Small Saturday on November 29.
Here’s how it works: Pick up your official Buda Bingo card at any participating merchant, or stop by the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce, the Buda Welcome Center, or City Hall.

Each purchase at a participating business earns a unique sticker for your card. Fill a row, column, or diagonal, and you’ve earned an entry in the prize drawing; complete a full blackout and you’ll score 12 entries toward winning local gift cards, prize baskets, and more. Completed cards must be dropped off by December 5, 2025, at one of the official drop-off locations.

More than 40 local shops, eateries, service providers, and more are on the Bingo roster. Get a jump on holiday gifting with stops at Hays County Outfitters, Posie, Old Town Buda Antique Mall, and Shaggy Dog Market.

Community Supported Festival
Austin's NPR station is about to bring the fun out of public radio and onto the street. The inaugural KUT Festival will be held May 1 and 2, 2026, at multiple locations across the University of Texas at Austin campus.
A press release says it's "a new annual tradition celebrating the people, ideas, music and culture that make Austin 'Austin.'"
Attendees can expect talks and panels try mysteriously vague "hands-on activities," patronize food trucks, engage with art, and meet community organizations. Just about everything will be in-scope: arts and culture, civic engagement, energy, the environment, transportation, health and wellness, and music — much like listening to community radio, but with more dimensions in person.

KUT is no stranger to hosting events, but in a festival capacity locals are likely more familiar with KUT's sister station for music, KUTX. It does programming for The Drop-In at the Long Center, C3's Holiday Hootenanny at Radio/East, the Un Día showcase, the station's own Rock The Park series at Mueller Lake Park, and more. KUTX will also get to run with live music programming at the KUT Festival.
Tickets will go on sale in January.
Some Austinites have taken a new or deeper interest in supporting local radio after a large loss of federal funding this year. For KUT, that loss was estimated at $1.2 million. However, the station seems to be rising to the challenge, and in October even announced a new network called Austin Signal that combines reporting by news outlets all over the state.

The festival will be held at UT because, as the station's call letters imply, KUT is owned and operated by the university. The station now says it's 100 percent community supported as of September 15, 2025; before the cuts, it was already at 90 percent. Relationships with the community have always been important for KUT, but now a festival could be a defining factor in how the station thrives in a new era.
“KUT and KUTX are already bringing the news, music and culture that Austin loves to the community on a regular basis over the air and through our digital products,” said KUT Public Media general manager Debbie Hiott in the public announcement. “This festival will bring it all to life, and we can celebrate what it is to be Austin residents together and in person.”

The integration of Generative AI into cloud governance transforms AWS account management into a more automated and efficient process. Leveraging the generative AI capabilities of Amazon Bedrock alongside tools such as AWS Control Tower and Account Factory for Terraform (AFT), organizations can now expedite the AWS account setup and management process, aligning with best practices while minimizing development effort.
Customers need to factor in a number of organizational requirements and evaluate AWS best practices while provisioning an AWS account. Hence, they end up spending significant amount of development cycles to create the customizations for an AWS account.
In this blog post, we illustrate the power of leveraging Amazon Bedrock Agents orchestrating multistep tasks during account vending process with AFT which sets you up with a Terraform pipeline to provision and customize AWS accounts in AWS Control Tower. Behind the scenes, Agents for Amazon Bedrock automates the orchestration of user-requested tasks, such as a new AWS Account request or generating account customizations. An agent automatically builds the orchestration prompt and, if connected to knowledge bases, augments it with your company-specific information and invokes APIs to provide responses to the user in natural language. Using AFT, you create an account request in Terraform and commit to the repository that triggers the AFT workflow for Account Factory. After Account Factory execution is complete, AFT runs additional customization steps automatically.
In the following sections, we walk through an example use case of provisioning a “Security Tooling Account ” and detail how Bedrock Agents and foundational model (Claude 2.1) can be used to accelerate the IaC development for a specific security tooling use case. Finally, you will learn how to deploy the generated IaC from Bedrock and scale your infrastructure deployments through AFT.
Prior to delving into the deployment, let’s walkthrough the key steps of the architecture that will be establishing as shown in Figure 1.

This solution follows AWS Security Reference Architecture (SRA), and can be utilized to create AWS account types such as security tooling, infrastructure, workload accounts, and deploy respective AWS services for each type of AWS account. For the purpose of this blog post, we focus on creating the security tooling account and deployment of the recommended AWS security services. There are 4 steps to deploy our solution. These are described below.
Step 1 : Configure Knowledge Base: Configuring a Knowledge Base (KB) enables your Bedrock agents to access a repository of information for AWS account provisioning. Follow these steps to set up your KB:
Step 2 : Configure the Bedrock Agent:
“Assist users in creating AWS accounts based on account type. Ask user which AWS account type(customization name) they would like to create: Security or Infrastructure AWS account. Ask user which AWS services they would like to deploy for their chosen account type. DO NOT assume AWS services for account type, ask user. Query the knowledge base for the approved AWS services list for the selected AWS account type. Present the AWS services to the user for service selection. Collect required user details for the account creation, for e.g.; “Please provide first name, last name, organization unit, account email and name”. Upon AWS services selection, invoke the account customization Lambda to generate the appropriate Terraform code. After successful execution of account customization lambda provide users repository link and ask for user confirmation of terraform code before triggering the AWS account creation lambda. Ask user to update code if needed. DO NOT trigger account creation lambda unless you receive confirmation from user. After user confirmation, initiate the account creation Lambda. Let the user know the account has been created with the customization.“
Step 3 : Configuring Agent Action Groups: After initial agent configuration and adding the above instruction to the agent. There are two actions that need to be added to the agent to enable account creation and customization via AFT.

The winning numbers in Friday’s EuroMillions have been revealed in the draw for the UK’s biggest ever lottery jackpot.
A record jackpot of £210m had been up for grabs in Friday’s draw if a single ticket-holder had managed to choose the winning numbers.
The winning numbers were announced as 20, 21, 29, 30, 35, while the Lucky Stars are 2 and 12. Players must correctly choose all seven numbers in order to win the jackpot.
However, it was announced later on Friday night that no winning tickets had been sold.
While the jackpot is now capped at £210m, any money in the next draw that would have gone into the jackpot will now boost prizes in the second tier, meaning multiple UK players could potentially bank large prizes for matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
In Friday’s draw, seven players won the second-tier prize, entitling them to winnings of more than £2m each. A total of 18 ticket-holders correctly chose the main five numbers without a Lucky Star, a feat which could see them collect more than £17,000.
Tuesday’s draw of £199m would also have been a record-breaking jackpot, but no one held a winning ticket then either, with the jackpot now up for grabs once again in four days’ time.
“A win of this magnitude would create the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen – making a single UK winner instantly richer than the likes of Dua Lipa and Harry Kane while also landing them at the number one spot on the National Lottery’s biggest wins list,” said Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn.
An anonymous UK ticket-holder won the existing record jackpot of £195m on 19 July 2022.
Just two months earlier Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, won £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on 10 May 2022.
The UK’s third biggest win came after an anonymous ticket-holder scooped the £177m jackpot in the draw on 26 November last year, while the biggest this year was £83m in January.
According to National Lottery, the winning code in Friday’s Millionaire Maker Selection raffle – which is included in all EuroMillions tickets – was VLWS75031, with one ticketholder set to win the £1m prize.
In other National Lottery draws on Friday night, the Thunderball – which has a top prize of £500,000 – drew winning numbers of 3, 14, 31, 32, 34. The Thunderball is a 6.

Tonight’s EuroMillions lottery stands at a whopping £14million, an amount which is more than enough to change anyone’s fortune. The Thunderball draw will also take place tonight, with a £500,000 jackpot up for grabs. Each EuroMillions ticket bought is also an automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw, which returns a jackpot of £1 million.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 3, 53, 60, 62, 68 and the Powerball number was 11. The jackpot was $474 million.
The drawing was the 26th since a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Rows of tables filled the Lake Charles Event Center, and so did smiles. What looked like a simple game day was actually part of a much larger effort to support Southwest Louisiana’s senior community.
“Believe it or not, our seniors are our most vulnerable demographic when it comes to fraud and abuse,” said Ward 3 Marshal Nathan Keller, one of the event organizers. “What we do is we have all the resources here to allow them to hear what is mental and physical abuse. But not only that, we know that social isolation is huge in that demographic.”
From health screenings and Medicare information to nutrition guidance and social services, the event brought everything under one roof, helping seniors stay informed and connected.
Participants said events like this not only help them learn, but also give them a chance to build friendships and feel part of a community again.
“It’s so important because we realize how we need each other,” said senior participant Emily Hider. “Every person needs someone in their circle in order to feel loved and feel important.”
Each player also left with a free bag of groceries, a small gesture that goes a long way for a group especially vulnerable to food insecurity.
“We provide breakfast, we provide lunch, and then at the end, everyone goes home with a bag of groceries with protein and meat, everything in it,” Keller added. “We understand that sometimes our seniors have to decide whether to pay for medication or get food.”
Organizers say the event was about more than just bingo, it was about reminding seniors that they’re seen, supported, and valued.
