By employing the proposed Sindhu Prakrit alphabet, the research delves into the relationship between the seal’s iconography and its inscribed text, seeking to unlock the meaning behind its motifs.
The Indus script is one of the last great undeciphered writing systems from the ancient world. The new approach in this study treats the script as an alphabet, offering a fresh perspective on its interpretation. This analysis builds on the comprehensive documentation of Indus signs by eminent scholars like Iravatham Mahadevan and Asko Parpola, aiming to shed new light on this ancient mystery.
Through meticulous examination, the study proposes an empirical model to understand the compositional techniques and potential use of diacritics within the Indus script. The model posits that the script operates with approximately 40 primary signs, which are supplemented by additional symbols representing vowels, diphthongs, and aspirated consonants. These primary signs have been assigned phonetic values through comparisons with other ancient alphabetic scripts.

However, in this particular inscription, P-127 appears at the upper right of P-376.This deviation from the usual placement raises intriguing attention about the potential significance of diacritic location and application within the Indus script.
Iconographic Elements Possessing Symbolic Features

The Crown with Three Points
The Sanskrit term “makuṭa” primarily signifies a crown, tiara, or diadem. Monier-Williams’ comprehensive dictionary elaborates on this, describing it as crescent-shaped, distinct from the pointed kirīṭa and the three-pointed mauli. It can also refer to a crest, peak, or even the head itself.
Other authoritative Sanskrit dictionaries like Shabda-Sagara, and Yates echo this core meaning, with additional synonyms like head-dress and coronet. The Pali equivalent, as per Pali-English dictionaries, is also “makuṭa” and carries the same connotation of a crest or crown.
Interestingly, the term extends beyond mere ornamentation. In the context of Shaivism, as explored in iconographical representations of Shiva, “Makuṭāgama” is one of the twenty-eight Siddhāntāgamas – sacred texts embodying the divine wisdom of Shiva, passed down through Parvati and acknowledged by Vishnu.

Multifaceted Meaning of Śa
The Sanskrit term “Śa” encapsulates a range of potent concepts. Apte V.S and Monier-Williams agree on its fundamental meaning as a “cutter” or “destroyer.” This destructive force is further emphasised by its association with a weapon.
Significantly, both dictionaries also link “Śa” to the Shiva, known for his transformative and often destructive roles in mythology.
Unconventional Trunk
The proboscis depicted in this motif deviates from conventional representations, instead resembling an archaic weapon. This interpretation is reinforced by the sign substituted for the elephant’s eye.
Based on the decipherment of the Indus Script as an alphabetic system, the textual content reveals distinct social strata correlated with specific motifs. The elephant motif is associated with the ruling class or political governance of the empire. The seal under examination signifies a sovereign ruler and their power.
Indus seals exhibit exceptional skill and precision in conveying symbolic messages through iconography. This mastery is evident in all seals adorned with images, demonstrating not only linguistic and writing proficiency but also artistic virtuosity. The integration of symbolic representations of diverse themes and concepts alongside the textual content is remarkable. A particularly striking feature of the Indus texts is their frequent and meticulous references to Mahadev Shiva and Uma Parvati. This phenomenon underscores a profound devotion to the divine couple.
The proposed alphabetic deciphering of the Indus script reveals a compelling correlation between decoded text and accompanying iconography. This congruence is further substantiated by numerous iconographic seals that demonstrate a similar level of consistency when interpreted through the lens of the suggested Sindhu Prakrit alphabet.

This research endeavours to position the alphabetic approach at the forefront of Indus script studies and stimulate broader scholarly engagement with this methodology. Constructive criticism and alternative perspectives are not only welcomed but actively encouraged. A re-evaluation of the Indus script as an alphabet holds the potential to unlock the enigmatic secrets of this civilisation and its rich historical tapestry.

Winners in the Kerala state lottery must verify their ticket numbers against the results published in the official Kerala Government Gazette. According to the Kerala State Lotteries Department, prize claims must be submitted within 30 days of the draw date.
Winners of the first and second prizes are required to surrender their tickets either in person or via insured registered post to the Director of State Lotteries. Alternatively, claims can be submitted through nationalised, scheduled, state, or district co-operative banks, along with the necessary documents.
Claimants must also provide valid identification, such as an Aadhaar or PAN card, when submitting their winning ticket.

The winning ticket was sold at a liquor store in San Jose, the California Lottery announced.
There were no tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, according to the California Lottery.

The Colorado Lottery has announced the results for the Saturday, November 8, 2025 draw.
Across the state, players examined their tickets in various games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, and Pick 3. There was no jackpot winner this time, but some players still won smaller cash prizes in different games.
The Powerball numbers for November 8 were 8, 24, 36, 39, 52 and the Powerball number was 12. The Power Play was 3x. Nobody in Colorado matched all six numbers to win the grand prize.
Several players did match a few numbers and took smaller prizes. Across the country, a few tickets matched five numbers and won $1 million each. In Colorado, players won smaller prizes ranging from $4 on up to $50,000 depending on how many of their numbers matched and if they added the Power Play option.
The jackpot for Powerball has now grown to about $467 million; the next draw will be on Monday, November 10. Each Powerball ticket costs $2, and adding the Power Play for $1 gives players a chance to multiply smaller prizes. Draws are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The Lucky for Life numbers were 4, 6, 21, 28, 47, with the Lucky Ball number 6. Players who match all numbers can win $1,000 a day for life.
In Colorado Lotto+, the numbers were 2, 10, 14, 22, 35, and 39. No one won the main prize, but several tickets won smaller amounts. The next jackpot is around $1.4 million.
The Pick 3 winning numbers were 4-3-8 for the midday draw and 2-1-6 for the evening draw.
Players can check their results on the official Colorado Lottery website, through the mobile app, or at local lottery retailers. The app lets users scan their tickets to find out instantly if they’ve won.
Winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days from the draw date. Prizes under $599 can be claimed at any retailer, while larger amounts must be collected at a Colorado Lottery claim center.
Part of the money from ticket sales goes toward parks, open spaces, and wildlife projects in Colorado.
Since 1983, the Colorado Lottery has given more than $4 billion to support environmental and community programs.
The next Powerball draw will be held on Monday, November 10, followed by Mega Millions on Tuesday, November 11.
Players have a few more chances to try their luck before the next draw, and the rising jackpot is drawing even more attention across the state.

​The South Carolina Education Lottery has released results from the drawing of Saturday, November 8, 2025. Millions of people in the state have checked their tickets to find out whether they had won a grand prize in games like Powerball, Mega Millions, Pick 3, Pick 4, and Palmetto Cash 5.
While nobody in South Carolina won the largest jackpot amount this time, some other players did win smaller prizes in various games.

No ticket sold in South Carolina matched all six numbers to win the jackpot. But several did match enough to take home smaller cash prizes of between $4 and $50,000, depending on how many numbers matched and if the player added Power Play.
The Powerball jackpot has gotten even bigger. Monday’s drawing will be held on November 10, and the jackpot is now estimated at $467 million.
Each Powerball ticket is sold for $2, and players can also add the Power Play feature for $1 extra to increase smaller prize amounts.
Drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., ET.
Along with Powerball, other South Carolina lottery games also announced their results on Saturday.
The Pick 3 numbers for today are 4-2-0 for the midday and 9-7-3 for the evening. For Pick 4, the winning numbers were 1-4-8-5 (midday) and 6-0-9-4 (evening).
The numbers drawn in Palmetto Cash 5 were 3, 8, 18, 21, and 27, with the Power-Up of 2x. No player won the top prize of $100,000; several people did match fewer numbers for smaller prizes.

But engineers said one of the biggest benefits of the EV mode allows the Scion 01 to crawl the wilderness in silence.<br>In addition to its clever hybrid powertrain, the Scion 01 features Baja runner-inspired suspension, meaning lots of articulation and high-speed shock absorption, and a balanced track width. <br>It also features a first-ever FIA racing and SCORE safety certified rollover protection cage, proprietarily developed by Toyota.<br>Toyota&#8217;s curiosity about the ATV space might seem outside of its envelope.
