Moon Inc. is rolling out a Bitcoin prepaid card in Thailand and South Korea, with more Asia expansion coming.
Moon Inc. (HKEX: 1723) has raised about US$8.8 million to launch a Bitcoin prepaid card in Thailand and South Korea, with plans to expand across Asia. The company, a leader in prepaid connectivity and digital asset solutions, confirmed the successful HK$65.5 million fundraising earlier today.
The round was supported by a consortium of Bitcoin miners and investors through the issuance of new shares and convertible notes, according to a note shared with Bitcoin Magazine. 
“The successful completion of this private placement marks another critical milestone in Moon Inc.’s growth, and we are grateful for the confidence our new and existing investors have shown in our long-term vision,” said John Riggins, CEO of Moon Inc.
According to a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the proceeds will support Moon Inc.’s Pan-Asian expansion, starting with Thailand and South Korea, alongside the launch of its Bitcoin-enabled prepaid card. 
The cards enable users to acquire, store, and transfer Bitcoin without the complexity of traditional wallets, merging Moon Inc.’s prepaid telecom expertise with innovative digital asset functionality.
In other words, the cards will let people buy and send Bitcoin easily, without needing a separate crypto wallet — basically like a pre-paid phone card.
Looking ahead, Moon Inc. is evaluating Taiwan, Japan, and Vietnam for future growth opportunities.
Riggins framed the fundraise and new prepaid card as a step toward bridging traditional capital markets within the Bitcoin economy, leveraging Moon Inc.’s existing wholesale telecom distribution networks. 
“We see this as more than a fundraise — it’s a vote of confidence in Hong Kong’s role as a gateway for regulated digital-asset innovation and in Moon Inc.’s ability to bridge traditional capital markets with the Bitcoin economy,” Riggins said.
Back in March, the company became the first publicly traded company in Greater China to adopt a Bitcoin treasury strategy, integrating Bitcoin into both its balance sheet and retail business model.
The fundraising follows Moon Inc.’s majority acquisition by Sora Ventures and UTXO Management earlier this year, a move that has accelerated the company’s strategic initiatives and broadened its digital asset offerings. 
In addition to the pre-paid card, Moon Inc. also announced they were named one of Hong Kong’s 10 most innovative companies by Capital Magazine.
“We’re honored to be recognized for driving Bitcoin adoption in Asia, particularly through our prepaid Bitcoin card,” Riggins said.

Asset management giant T. Rowe Price on Wednesday applied for a mixed digital asset exchange-traded fund, according to a regulatory filing, its first in the crypto space as it joined a growing list of traditional finance firms that have proposed token-focused products. 
The Baltimore-based firm, which manages $1.77 trillion in assets, said that the T. Rowe Price Active Crypto ETF  would hold five to 15 digital assets, including potentially Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, Dogecoin, Cardano, Avalanche, Shiba Inu, Hedera, Bitcoin Cash, Chainlink, Litecoin, and Polkadot, according to its S-1 prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Bitcoin and Ethereum, the two largest digital coins by market cap, will have the biggest weighting, according to the application.

"Under normal circumstances, the Fund is expected to hold between five and fifteen crypto assets; however, the Fund may hold more than fifteen or less than five crypto assets at any time," the filing said, adding that the ETF would try to outperform the FTSE Crypto U.S. Listed Index.
The application comes as traditional finance firms look to expand their digital asset fund offerings to meet soaring investor demand, a result of the success of spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds that debuted last year and a friendlier regulatory and political environment.   

Fidelity, VanEck and ProShares have all proposed Solana funds. This week, ProShares also submitted a proposal for a mixed digital coin fund.
Several crypto-focused asset managers are also looking to list ETFs based on altcoins. The SEC is currently weighing more than 90 applications for crypto-focused ETFs. 
T. Rowe Price told Decrypt that it could not provide information aside from what was in the filing.
In January 2024, the SEC approved a slew of Bitcoin ETFs, including funds proposed by BlackRock, Fidelity, and Grayscale. The funds have had the most successful start in the ETF industry's 32-year history and now manage over $150.3 billion in assets. Ethereum funds, approved later in the year, now control about $23 billion in assets, most of those coming in the last four months. 
The funds have given more traditional investors and some institutions access to the world of crypto via shares that trade on a stock exchange. Previously, investors were discouraged by some aspects of buying digital assets, such as storing digital coins and paying tax on gains.

A Clarksville, Tennessee woman turned a casual Saturday morning into a $30,000 windfall after winning big on a Kentucky Lottery Scratch-off ticket while cheering at her granddaughter’s soccer game in Oak Grove.

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said she had recently returned from vacation and decided to buy a couple of Scratch-off tickets from a vending machine at the Oak Grove Walmart to pass the time before the game. She didn’t expect to win much but decided to try her luck.
While watching the match, she began scratching her $2 Trick or Treat ticket and was stunned to keep revealing $3,000 prizes. After checking the ticket with a friend, she realized she had won ten $3,000 prizes for a total of $30,000.
She received $21,600 after taxes and said the reality of her win hadn’t fully set in yet.
Now living near Fort Campbell to help care for her granddaughter while her son is deployed, she said she plans to use the winnings for travel and to make a donation to her church as a way to give back.
The win marks the first $30,000 top-prize ticket claimed from the Kentucky Lottery’s $2 Trick or Treat Scratch-off game, which launched in September. Three top prizes and 23 second-tier prizes remain.
Walmart in Oak Grove will receive a $300 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In 2025, the Kentucky Lottery awarded more than $1.6 billion in prizes, with proceeds funding scholarships and grants for over 1 million Kentucky college students.

He explained, “It’s simpler to manage multiple marriages when the wives don’t live together under one roof. They don’t interfere with each other’s space. For instance, there’s a man with four wives three of them don’t work. The one who is employed is a doctor and also runs a successful business. She earns well, keeps what she needs, and gives the rest to her husband, who then shares it with the other wives. The husband also adds his own contribution, and everyone is content.”
Ali Baba further noted that cohabiting can often spark jealousy, as wives may feel some are receiving preferential treatment.
He illustrated, “Sometimes disputes arise when one child wants something, like studying abroad, and the other children are denied the same opportunity. This can lead to arguments among the wives, with some even withdrawing financial support. In one case, two wives ended up leaving because of the disagreements.”
