Galveston ISD Educational Foundation’s sold-out designer bag bingo event on Oct. 17 was a rip-roaring success.
The Hilton Galveston Island Resort‘s Oceanfront Ballroom was buzzing with excitement as about 220 guests enjoyed 10 lively rounds of bingo. The event offered designer bags modeled by Galveston firefighters, along with great food and drinks, plus the chance to win many stunning designer bags — all while supporting a great cause.
Because of the community’s enthusiasm and generosity, funds raised from the event will directly support classroom grants for teachers and schools, helping to enhance learning experiences across the school district.
Organizers gave a special shout out to UTMB Health for being a sponsor and making the event possible.
