TQ Wuling has announced that the TQ Wuling Bingo is now open for booking in Malaysia. The compact electric hatchback, slated for launch by Q4 2025, will be available in two variants: Bingo Pro and Bingo Max. Interested customers can secure a unit with a booking fee of RM50 on the company’s website.
The booking announcement follows the reveal of preliminary specifications earlier this week. The Bingo EV is smaller than the Proton eMAS 5 (stylised as e.MAS 5), and is approximately the size of a Perodua Axia. Three colours will be available for the hatchback when it’s launched in Malaysia: Neon Blue, Lavender Purple, and Milky White. All three colours come with a black roof.
Confirmed interior equipment includes dual 10.25-inch displays for the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system, which also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is upholstered in leatherette, possibly in a dual-tone theme according to preliminary photos, and features “Glossy Ceramic” accents and additional leatherette trim pieces.
Based on the photos, other interior features could include a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and a rotary gear selector on the centre console. Boot space is rated at 310 litres, expandable to 710 litres with the rear seats folded.

The TQ Wuiling Bingo will be available with two battery packs in Malaysia. The Pro model is equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, enabling a range of 333 km (CLTC). Stepping up to the Max will see the hatch equipped with a larger 37.9 kWh LFP battery, bumping the range up to 410 km (CLTC).
Both variants of the TQ Wuling Bingo support 50 kW DC charging, which enables a 30-80% recharge in 35 minutes.
No official powertrain specifications were disclosed for the TQ Wuling Bingo in Malaysia, but referring to the model on sale in Indonesia, the hatchback could be powered by a front-mounted electric motor making 68 hp (50 kW).
Safety features of the TQ Wuling Bingo include six airbags, along with standard assistance systems like anti-lock braking, electronic stability control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
With a target price of below RM100,000, the TQ Wuling Bingo could be the nation’s second “affordable” EV after the Proton eMAS 5 due to the hatchback being locally assembled (CKD) at Tan Chong Motor Holdings (TCMH) plant in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.
